My Trip to Kelowna, British Columbia
Hey Friend! There is nothing I love more than traveling to a great spot that has beautiful weather and scenery. Today I am highlighting my most recent trip to Kelowna, British Columbia. This was a “no kids” trip which I find makes it extra relaxing. Don’t get me wrong, I love our two little peanuts but traveling with kiddos in tow definitely makes for a different kind of vacation if you know what I mean.
I wanted to share some of our favorite Kelowna restaurants and coffee shops that we enjoyed while we were there. Let’s do this!
1: Quails’ Gate Winery
On the top of my list has to be Quails’ Gate Winery. This was one of my favorite views with the vineyard right out the window with sites of the beautiful lake as well. We chose their steak and ravioli and both were perfection. Make sure to book a reservation at this popular place for an optimal time slot. Click the photo below to head straight to their website.
2: Deville Coffee
We tried both the vanilla latte and chai latte and Deville Coffee and both were great! But for me, the quality of the drink is only half the battle when it comes to me loving a coffee shop. The aesthetic must also be on point. They definitely nail it when it comes to a beautiful cozy environment. Check out the photo below for a little sneak peak.
3: RauDZ
The ingredients used at this award-winning restaurant are focused on organic and locally sourced. You can tell in the beauty of the dishes that this place values quality. Our favorite dish here was the baked Brie. Close your eyes and savor each bite of this dish.
4: Oak & Cru
We loved this location and the food so much that we ate here twice on our five day trip. Joel is a huge fan of eggs benny so needless to say he is hard to please. He loved the eggs benny at Oak & Cru. It was also my favorite avocado toast that I had on our trip. The views sitting outside on their patio were incredible. Check out the video below for a behind the scenes look.
5: Karat Chocolate Boutique & Cafe
Do you need a gift or two to bring back home from your trip to Kelowna? Joel’s parents watched the kiddos for us while we were away so we stopped by Karat to pick up some special chocolates for them. Of course we picked some up for ourselves and the kids to enjoy as well. Check out how adorable their chocolates are in the photo below.
6: Erica Jane
We were walking around one of the days and stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant! The design of this restaurant is like nothing I’ve seen. If you stop by, make sure to check out the bathrooms, beautiful! We ordered the steak sandwich and the veggie sandwich on their lunch menu and both were fantastic. I highly recommend checking out Erica Jane.
There were so many amazing views and places we visited in Kelowna. If you haven’t been, add it to your summertime bucket list and let me know what some of your favorite places are!
Have a great day my friend!
