Family Photo Shoot

I just love capturing those sweet smiles of my kids. While I can take decent photos, there is nothing like a professional photoshoot where it’s someone else’s job to capture the moment. We had the most beautiful photos taken by Janell Allyn Photography. She has been shooting our family for years starting when Joel and I got engaged over 10 years ago!

I remember bringing Hazel home as a baby and Janell photographed her. It was the photo shoot of all photo shoots as Hazel cried the. entire. time. Oh my goodness talk about stressful! Janell was still able to capture beautiful photos even given the circumstances.

We captured our new family photos this year on the outskirts of Redcliff, Alberta by the river and it was the most perfect spot on a warm June evening. If you are considering getting family photos taken, absolutely go for it! They are a treasure.
